The abbaye is in a fine location right by the lake. We loved the awesome system down by the water where you can scan a qr code to order from a menu, and they deliver it right to your table. We also enjoyed the small spa with its hot tub and sauna.

beautiful views and scenic strolls make for a perfect getaway
The abbaye has fine views of the lake and is just a few steps from the beautiful Baie de Talloires. We also loved the delicious dinner in the courtyard that added a charming touch to our stay. As weekend travelers, we enjoyed walking through nearby parks and discovering local restaurants without needing a car.

The property was charming old with top-class staff. The location was quiet and absolutely perfect, adjacent to a local cafe for good coffee and croissants, Annecy itself, and the lake of Annercy, in a fairly nice area. There was free Wi-Fi in all rooms and the service in general was exceptional...

Beautiful location- stunning views. The hotel staff friendly, helpful, the people of the village delightful. The Abbaye itself a beautiful historic building - very peaceful and relaxing either in the gardens or by the jetty in front of the hotel. Absolutely wonderful and definitely recommended.

Charming Stay with Lovely Views
The restaurant's gluten-free menu catered perfectly to our needs. The cheese trolley was an unexpected treat. Pro tip, securing dinner reservations is essential, given the popularity of the restaurant.

The location and the building
Very disappointing experience. Restaurant closed for 2 out of the 3 nights and no lunches either. Refused tea in afternoon as staff were all being trained! When told that was not acceptable the staff concerned came out of the training. Seemed as if hotel was geared for big weddings and not fully staffed in week until June 1st.

The views from our double lake view room were fine, and the breakfast spread was delicious! We really enjoyed spending time at the hot tub and sauna for some much-needed relaxation. The only downside was the limited parking, so I'd suggest arriving early if you can 😊

The Abbaye of Talloires has a spectacular lakeside setting on picturesque Lake Annecy with incomparable tranquil scenic beauty. Time spent there is a vacation within a vacation. The staff is helpful, pleasant and accommodating, and the premises clean and attractive. I wish the management would try to exploit the central courtyard beyond its visual attributes: a few tables, chairs, benches in a fully landscaped setting would entice the visitor to lounge there and enjoy light snacks. The historical structure of the building does not allow the violatioon of its integrity, but an outside elevator tower with bridges would greatly assist the physically challenged and/or aging visitor. This, our return visit, was a dicisive factor in building our itinerary.

Fine Views and Excellent Dining Experience
My stay near the lake was lovely, with amazing views and a dining experience that stood out. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, skillfully prepared with local ingredients. The private swimming area was a peaceful retreat away from the crowded beach. The WiFi connection in the room was quite poor, disappointing .
